the artist’s artist, oskar fischinger was never truly appreciated in the mainstream, yet he’s the reason why the field of animation can seem so boundless. id like to have shown “munchen-berlin wanderlung” but its nowhere to be found on the internet. it can be purchased at the center for visual music, however. in the meantime, enjoy his early piece “wax experiments”.
